Meghan Davis Hill has over 20 years of experience editing for an array of writers, including best-selling book authors, screenplay writers, and authors of professional journal articles. She brings a mastery of story, structure, and writing clarity to every manuscript.

Meghan has edited books that have been published by Harper Collins, Penguin Random House, Simon and Schuster, and other top publishers. She has also edited screenplays for an award-winning film writer and producer.

Meghan began her professional life as an attorney, and the precise nature of legal writing has made her an editor who appreciates the necessity of choosing the right words to communicate layers of meaning. Moreover, she is trained to orchestrate story arcs for both nonfiction and fiction writing that create an emotional connection between author and reader.  

Meghan has worked on everything from thrillers to children’s books in the fiction arena. In nonfiction, she has coached, edited, and ghostwritten several memoirs. Meghan has also worked on nonfiction books in both the legal and psychology fields. Specifically, she has studied and edited works on topics such as marriage, family dynamics, depression and anxiety, schizophrenia, and the complexities of utilizing drugs in treatment plans. She has also studied the interplay of the courts, psychologists and psychiatrists to determine the best interests of children at risk. Meghan helps writers transfer their ideas onto the page in a way that grabs readers’ attention from the first sentence and keeps them engaged throughout.
